1. DIY Ombre Wooden Utensils: A DIY gift is a sure way to show how much you care about someone. Make mom a pair of these utensils & serve them with her favorite dinner to truly spoil her this Mother's Day!

What You'll Need: wooden utensils | lightmedium, & dark colored paint | paint brushes | paper plates | painters tape

Step 1: Wrap painters tape around top of the utensil just before it widens. Press tape down to secure.
Step 2: Pour roughly 2 tbsp of each paint onto a separate paper plate. Beginning with the lightest color, paint the entire handle of each utensil.
Step 3: Let paint dry completely (roughly 1 hour). Remove tape.
Step 4: Place a new piece of tape 1/3 of the way down on the handle. Press tape down to secure. Begin painting with the medium coat of paint.
Step 5: Repeat steps 2-4 again for the darkest shade. Enjoy!

3. DIY Lavender Coconut Oil Body Cream: Help mom relax with this DIY Lavender Coconut Oil Body Cream that smells as good as it leaves you feeling. 

What You'll Need: Vitamin E Oil (ships free!) | Lavender Essential Oil | Unrefined, Organic Coconut Oil | Large Mixing Bowl | Electric Mixer

Step 1: In large mixing bowl, combine 14 oz. Coconut Oil, 14 drops of Lavender Essential Oil, & 2 drops of Vitamin E Oil. Stir to combine. Place in freezer for 20 minutes, until solid.

Step 2: Remove from freezer & stir with electric mixer for 6 minutes until soft & fluffy. Transfer to air tight container. Keep jar sealed & in cool or room temperature area when not in use.

4. DIY Flower Letter: Decorate your mom's initial or smell out MOM with this cute & fun DIY. Opt for faux flowers so mom can keep this gift forever just like all the projects you made her in grade school. 

What You’ll Need: paper mache letters | flowers | X-Acto knife | paint brush | paint | hot glue gun

Step 1: Cut the top of the letter off using the X-Acto knife. Remove anything on the inside.

Step 2: Paint your letters. I ended up liking the way it looked with some natural paper mache showing on the edges so paint desired amount.

Step 3: Arrange flowers in desired position throughout the letter. Plug in your hot glue gun & once warm, peel back each flower individually & secure it with glue to the edges of the letters.
